I am a 40 year old recovering alcoholic. Looking back I see that I have suffered from depression and anxiety for most of my life. I haven't drank in 3 years and am on medication for my mood disorders. Neither sobriety nor medication have removed my mental issues but I am ;developing coping techniques to accept myself and grow.
