...See more My ex best friend broke up with me around 2 years ago. Things built up and I made her feel ignored & unappreciated. I didn’t know boundaries at the time and left her traumatized. She wished me the best and tried to support me behind closed doors (tried to set me up with our guy friend) but I ended up being too much for the both of them and ended up hurting them both. My boyfriend recently broke up with me as well. I know I have to let go of my ex boyfriend as he asked for me to move on and we both apologized to each other. I had my closure. But I was wondering if it would be a good idea to reach out to my ex best friend. I left her traumatized and have seen her express on the internet that she’s tired of being the bigger person. I have a feeling that she still cares for me and I want to express how I’m sincerely sorry to her this time but I fear that I might trigger her. Should I leave her be and wait for her or take accountability for what I’ve done to her? I was also hoping that we could be friends again but at this point I feel like asking would be selfish.
