...See more Hi friends! I'm new to 7cups. I joined because I have OCD and GAD. I was diagnosed with OCD about a year ago, and it was a life-saving step to receive the diagnosis. Before that, I struggled for years and years to know what was going on with my brain. I recognize now that I've experienced OCD symptoms since I was a kid, but it got REALLY bad when I had kids. I think Postpartum Anxiety and OCD hit me hard, and it took me about five years for me to crash and burn and start getting answers. Now I am on a journey to health. My journey has included a lot of physical health issues connected to my anxiety. (Fatigue, nausea, head aches, facial swelling and constant pressure in head, brain fog, dropping out of school, etc). It's been quite the journey. Now I know that I have a ton of food sensitives, so my current path to health is sticking with my new diet (avoiding foods that make me sick), doing my OCD therapy, practicing mindfulness, and making meaningful connections with a community that understands. What is your story?
