I am Virginia from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm a cisgender female, non-binary person in my 50s, living with my partner and two black cats. I am not working due to depression, but I am a volunteer facilitator of drop-in peer mental health support groups at a local mental health organization. I love reading, writing haiku, yoga, singing, cooking, and learning languages. I had to defer entry to university this year (for an Honours BA in English) due to health and financial problems, but I'm hoping to go full-time in September 2024. In the meantime, I am hoping to work more on my physical and mental health, as well as hopefully get officially certified as a peer supporter :)
