...See more I'm feeling really hurt. I've started looking into my defensive mechanisms when it comes to relationships. I push people away and attempt to distance myself from people to protect myself. This is counterproductive because I truly want relationships. I'm at a loss, I don't know what to do. I'm afraid I won't ever be able to hold a relationship. I feel very alone. I want a family in the future. And if I do have children I do not want to pass this on.
