...See more I'm in a very unhappy relationship. My common-law husband is an alcoholic. When he drinks he is very abusive verbally and drains me. Today makes 8 yrs that we are living together. I want to leave, but without savings/money I can't. Is it right for me to pretend all is good, while I save enough for first and last month's rent? I know the stress is causing me health issues with my diabetes, but I have nowhere to turn to. I don't have friends that I can talk to. I would value any replies or opinions. Thank you
