Bio
Hi, my name is Wael, I’m here to listen & help as much as I can.
I hold a vocational certificate in Psychosocial Support & currently working in this field in real life. I also hold a master’s degree in Politics & International Relations.
Please be aware that I’m not a professional psychologist nor a therapist by any means.
Being born & raised in Lebanon, and coming from a mixed Lebanese-Pakistani background, I always prioritized the human aspect in my social relations, & tried to treat people fairly & objectively, despite all the differences & affiliations that might exist.
Listening is mainly a reflection of your feelings & thoughts, it can help you organize your feelings & look at your struggles from a different perspective. Listening isn’t finding solutions, judging, nor giving personal opinions or advice.
Listening can help reduce the pressure you’re feeling, but it might not solve the problems or struggles. Some of our problems don’t have immediate solution or changeable choice, but still talking and venting out will help a lot in dealing with the problem and reducing its heavy load on your mental health.
My areas of expertise are topics related to dealing with Stress, Anxiety, Racial & Cultural Identity, Bullying, Family Problems, & Social Anxiety.
I’m open to discuss topics related to Loneliness, Addiction, Relationship Challenges, Breakups, Depression, General Mental Health, Managing Emotions, Parenting, & Self-Esteem.
I prefer not to discuss topics related to LGBTQ+, Cancer, Disabilities, & Self-Harm.
Always remember that your mental health should be your top priority! & may Peace be upon you.
