...See more I truly believe He simply didnā€™t know How to speak How to act Or how to apologizeĀ  But either way He left me with a broken heart And a gut screamingĀ  ā€œI told you soā€ And know I know Why people hide their hearts away Thinking I knew in the first place Without meeting the traumaĀ  That came with the emotions Of being betrayed and conflictedĀ  Thinking back now How many times Iā€™d never listened to the warnings Claiming I couldnā€™t hear themĀ  in the first place Believing that good things happen Without the effort youā€™ve got to put in Even when i was the one Who was cheated betrayed and replacedĀ  Knowing it was my faultĀ  For trusting you in the first placeĀ
