...See more So let me start by saying Hi everyone I know it's been a while since I last posted. Lately I've been feeling like I'm on the right path to healing both physically and mentally but get pulled back by my emotions to my old ways. I am exercising again after a few weeks hiatus, I am increasing my steps too, and trying my hand at yoga and meditation. I really am just conflicted in how my personality is  and how blunt and assertive I can be aside from my usual cheerful and nonchalant demeanor. Any tips or input would be very much appreciated.

...See more Hi my first post here I'm feeling a little less  energetic  today. I know that everybody goes through trauma. And me being young having experienced a stroke shook me to the core. I know I shouldn't dwell on the past but, it feels too recent for me to let it go. I am trying my best to stay away from marijuana and alcohol. Specifically wax pens and liquor. I would like to sub the liquor out for a less harmful like maybe red wine. But otherwise I am trying to release stress by meditating,exercising,and my different hobbies. I feel like  I want more adventures in life.

...See more Okay not going to lie I haven't been in tune with myself lately/since childhood but I am now. It probably helps that I'm practicing self care like meditation/spirituality,daily affirmations,and exercise. I have recently gotten back to exercise so I am working on a more consistent schedule but I have been keeping a consistent walking schedule with 2K steps daily for 2-3 weeks. Now I recently updated my step goals to 5K steps daily. I am by no means perfect but I work towards a better me. Ever since I started doing these things I haven't felt this free in a long time money and materialistic objects are  not everything true wealth is health.

...See more First of all I want to say Hi to everyone !!! Secondly I just want to give those who have been through grief & loss as many times as I have if not more then I have  this message, things will get better with time. Mankind and our emotions are complex just like the different colors of a rainbow. Just know that with loss there is also gain. Just like we say live,love,laugh. And I leave you with this outgoing message  life has 3 states of time the past present, and future and although we may lose what was once precious to us remember to enjoy life as well. Lots of love a  tiny star in the galaxy.  🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

...See more I know it's been a couple weeks since I last visited this group. I've  been in a little depressed/stuck state since then. I had to remind myself just because I put exercise/life on pause  that I can always resume. I did still keep my walking routine up throughout this period. After I recently went on a trip to a lake it reminded me to not give up hope and to strive forward in life/fitness. Sometimes you just need a mood booster for motivation like nature,listening to music,drawing,or anything that you love. Remember life is like an elevator  it has it's ups and downs and has many levels(years) to go/grow through.

...See more Since my last post I've lost about 5 or so pounds and planning to lose more.I have made some tweaks to my workout schedule going 3 days of working out to 4 and from 4 resting days to 3 days resting as well walking 3,000 steps daily to 5,000 steps daily.As far as my eating diet I have to work on that.I drink plenty of water and tea rarely any soda or juice/other beverages and if I drink juice I make sure to drink low calorie juice/drinks.

...See more Hello to everyone old and new to the group.Hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season.Since I last wrote I've been through some hiccups here and there but who doesn't experience some during their weight loss journey.I decided for my New Year's resolution I will lose weight this year.In order to make sure that happens I will implement fasting,more excercise,and calorie counting.After I started fasting last week alongside walking and drinking more water I've lost a bit of weight.From the heaviest I've ever been 180 to 160 pounds.I will continue to post/write updates.For now I will Continue my efforts towards weight loss.

...See more Hi it's been a week since I originally posted about wanting to get back into being active.Since then I have been getting feedback on here and reddit to help me out.I have been averaging at least 3,000 steps per day and working out 3 days a week along with eating better foods and counting my calories.I would just to thank everyone who showed me support on my original post thank you and I'll be sure to update you on my progress or whether I'm stuck and need help.
