...See more Generally speaking, people who i interact with everyday seem to have one question that always comes up? why isn't he giving me attention? why isn't he loving me? or showing me affection? or buying me this and that... when you have such questions, you really have to look deep within.. what is the underlying issue... HOW CAN SOMEONE LOVE YOU IF YOU DON'T LOVE YOURSELF? People tend to settle for less because they feel they deserve that but i think it's very important to love yourself and set your standards high so that you attract the same type of people who have real appreciation for you. IF YOU ARE KIND TO OTHERS, WHY CAN'T YOU BE KIND TO YOURSELF? it's not crazy to remind yourself how beautiful you are, or to splurge on yourself once in awhile, and put your needs before others. YOU SHOULD NEVER NEED A MAN/WOMAN to validate your worth because you are worthy, you have a purpose and slowly as life goes on YOU WILL figure out your purpose in this world! BUT IF YOU DON'T love yourself you will always look to the wrong people to fill that void! You will love yourself more, when you take better care of your basic needs. People high in self-love nourish themselves daily through healthy activities, like sound nutrition [https://www.psychologytoday.com/basics/diet], exercise, proper sleep [https://www.psychologytoday.com/basics/sleep], intimacy and healthy social interactions. DON'T BE SCARED TO SAY NO! WHEN SOMETHING WILL CAUSE YOU HARM JUST TO PLEASE SOMEONE ELSE! Some people just don't deserve to be in your life, they are not worth your time, get rid of those people, because some people are just their to use you, they're only loyal when they need something, but once their needs are met so are their loyalty! SURROUND yourself with people who encourage you and bring out the best in you. And MOST IMPORTANT, FORGIVE YOURSELF LIKE YOU WOULD FORGIVE THE ONES YOU LOVE, WE ARE HUMANS! WE ARE NOT PERFECT WE MAKE MISTAKES, MISTAKES ARE ONLY LESSONS LEARNED! You have to accept your humanness (the fact that you are not perfect), before you can truly love yourself. Practice being less hard on yourself when you make a mistake. Remember, there are no failures, if you have learned and grown from your mistakes; there are only lessons learned. SO MAKE THE CHOICE TODAY AND LOVE YOURSELF AND SEE HOW THE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE WILL IMPROVE
