...See more On average how long are you supposed to stay on a certain anti depressant/anti anxiety before it's not as effective? I'm asking because I'm worried that if I talk to my doctor or begin seeing a therapist again, they will say it's time to switch medications. I'm on the highest dose of [edited by Anomalia to remove specific medication] you can be on? Also I've never gone through this for depression but can depression and anxiety be diagnosed throught a cat scan of the brain?

...See more Even though I've never been formally diagnosd with B.E.D. it's basically something I suffered with for most of my life. WHen I have talked to doctors about it once, I got EDNOS diagnosis. But it's been a while since I attempted to get treatment. Anyway a little bit about me, I'm in the U.S. I recently got my B.A. in Sociology and still looking for a job. I took the SSDI (disability) income I did have a moved to a big town/small city in VA (state where I lived my whole life) to try to get a job. Anyway, during this time, I had go on food stamps (only $16 a month), and get "free groceries" from a pantry. I rarely eat out, and often times I still have to borrow money from mom for food by the end of the month. It's been so hard. When I was in college, I had a meal plan thanks to my financial aid money so I never went hungry, but now that's all I feel.
What medications and options do I have?

...See more Okay so I've been treating my MDD for the past 4-5 years with medication and occasional therapy. Most of the medications I've tried before did not work and caused sexual dysfunction. I'm on viibryd now, I've been on it for the past 3 years and I didn't have a huge issue with orgasm during masturbation. However, lately I have prolonged orgasm and I can't squirt/ejaculate even when I feel the urge. I use a heavy duty massager too. Around the time I first started using sex toys and shortly and before I started using antidepressants, I was able to orgasm, moan, and squirt with just a tiny silver bullet and I can barely do with anything with a massager/dildo combo. It's frustrating.
