...See more Hello. The last month has been horrific. I think it started with a cortisone shot from a knee injury from working out. My whole body went haywire. At least a little related to my Hashimotos. Doctors aren’t really sure what’s going on (I really wish they were all in the same place working together). Anyway, I’m a stay at home mom and currently so debilitated that my poor husband is doing everything. I get ill even if my feet just get cold. And this woke up my anxiety that had been asleep for years. Frequent adrenaline surges driving me nuts. But oddly all I can think is how much I wished I was less of an introvert, wished my family wasn’t so dysfunctional (my parents don’t know, they’d be an anchor), and just wished I had a ton more people around me for love and support. I refuse to weight down my spouse and daughter. They’re great but I know this is hard on them. And we do have friends, but not close enough to be “hug me and tell me it’s going to be ok” friends. This is just such a dark and lonely place.
