Bio
I was a strong Evangelical Christian who lost my faith. I worked in a full time role caring for the emotional and spiritual needs of people (mainly university students) for many years before I left, after which I spent a long, rough journey trying to work out who I am outside the church.
I am comfortable with many different levels of conversation with those in need, having backgrounds in academic philosophy, psychology, and counselling. I have strong personal interest in art theory, world religions, European and East Asian thought, but would like to think that I have a life as well!
I currently work in mental health promotion, aimed specifically at the workplace context. Although I am not a therapists or counsellor, I do have both personal experience and broad theoretical knowledge in this area.
