...See more I'm having a really hard time accepting that this is my life. One day I want recovery, one day I don't. Some days I want recovery and then something happens and it messes up my thinking to the point where I'm falling back into negative behaviors. Today is one of those days. This whole thing is just so exhausting....Im about to give up

...See more After an intense and emotional discussion with my wife I remembered that everyone who loves someone with an eating disorder is right there suffering with you, sometimes loudly, often times silent, but right there watching you kill yourself. If your eating disorder is convincing you that you are only harming yourself, it's lying. Every single person who loves you suffers with you, maybe not the same way as you, but their suffering matters too. Give recovery a chance. What you have to gain is so much more than you will ever lose.

...See more I have my first joint session with my wife on Monday with the eating disorder therapist. I'm very nervous about what's going to happen and what's going to be discussed. It's never fun to put the eating disorder secrets out in the open.
