Bio
Hi Everyone and thanks for visiting my Profile! :)
My name is David. I am a certified active listener. At the moment I am not taking on any new members. I have slots becoming available regularly, so feel free to message me if you are interested. I will get back to you as soon as I can and I am here at least once a week.
I am deeply grateful of being able to help everyone I can, nonetheless I do have boundaries regarding Respectiveness and Confidentiality in our interactions. In my mind, everyone deserves a second chance, but if the interactive stile will show persistency in disregarding these two rules, boundaries and countermeasures will be implemented as I see fit.
My real strengths and expertise is bounded within the confines of Anxiety Disorders and corresponding difficulties ranging from generalised anxiety or phobic anxiety (with and without panic features) over OCD and eating disorders to trauma related syndromes like PTSD. Additionally I feel comfortable discussing a wide range of affective disorders (with and without schizoaffective features) and corresponding difficulties as well as schizophrenia and corresponding difficulties.
I do not feel comfortable discussing LGBTQ+-related issues until I have successfully accompanied further training and knowledge in the field.

About the Philosophy:
Goethe said in Faust: "Man errs so long as he strives".
By living we´re striving, meaning we´re trying whereby we´re producing errors caused by the wish of knowing.
Our Progress is unseparably connected to errors.
Wanting to be better means to make errors. Errors therefore are neutral (maybe even positive) in nature - our thoughts may convince us of the opposite.
In the words of Carl Rogers, it´s the accepting, benevolent and understanding human interaction that is truly healing. Honest, accepting, benevolent and empathic discours may bring us back to terms with our true selves and connect us once more.
"Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding!"
Thank you all for reading through this. I wish you the best and happy helping ! :)
