...See more Ive been doing a lot of reading as of late, and the latest book Ive been reading is about diabetes burnout. Does anybody here have experience managing diabetes with depression and anxiety? I feel like Im stuck in this terrible cycle. I wake up thinking about blood sugar and how my body did overnight. If sugars are high I blame myself for something stupid Ive done during the day. I also fight off feelings that Ill never get it right and it will spiral out of control. And this is all way before meal time too. Thats an entirely different battle. Ive also caught myself not managing my diabetes on purpose on bad days, like just in spite of everything. Ive told myself things like I dont deserve to be healthy etc. I was extremely active about 2 years ago too. Running 5k, going to the gym throughout the week and everything just fell apart. I thankfully see a doctor very soon, but I feel as if Im fighting a battle on three fronts. Does anybody have any experience with this?
