Hi! I'm not sure what I should write here but I'll try my best.. I'm Sophie, twenty one years old and all I want to do is escape from reality. I'm a passionate writer, I love to listen to music and watch movies and TV shows- anything to get me away from earth. I mainly struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. ...See more I have had sleep paralysis in the past but I didn't think much of it, just that I was messed up and then I'd move on with my day. But the past four nights of my week have been filled with terror and upset. I've been 'waking up' by the screams of angry voices, telling me to leave them alone, even though I have no idea who they are or what the nightmare I experience is about. When I 'wake up' I cannot move and I can still hear the angry voices, this time they sound like they are next to me in my bedroom. I have been having this EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, including daytime naps and I am tired of it. I guess my question to you if any of you experience sleep paralysis is.. How do you deal with it? Why does it happen? And why so often with me? Is there someway I can prevent it from happening? Thank you for taking the time to read this.. <3
