Hi! I'm Lidya. I'm 17 and come from a wide variety of nationalities; Turkey, Belgium, the US. I've lived in both Turkey and Spain. My hobbies consist of primarily volunteering, school clubs, drawing, reading, and playing the guitar. I also technically play football (soccer) and basketball, though I don't advertise this, as I struggle with team sports. I joined my school teams in order to build on this. Even though my skill level is as embarrassing as ever, I'm a better team player for it.

I plan to study medicine after my last year of high school, as I love biology, chemistry, and am passionate about helping people. I also desperately need human interaction in my career so I figure, what better way to combine all that than in medicine.

I've signed up to be a listener because I know all too well what it's like to need someone to talk to. I wanted to create an app with a similar purpose as 7cups, but overwhelming school work got in the way (as I'm sure all students and teenagers can understand). When I found out about 7cups, I knew I had to sign up. I'm here to listen, sit on the other end while you anonymously vent, and provide the best support I can.
