...See more Hi all. I’m LakeLureLocal on 7Cups, but you can call me Lake. I don’t know if epilepsy counts as a disability here, but I didn’t see a Disorder Support Group, so I went here. Anyways, stuff. Reason I came to 7Cups is because I was—and still am—going through things, and wanted support. I have interests in good books(classics), cats, drawing, photography, dragons, kids movies(judge me, I’m 18), and epilepsy. Hit me up if ya like some of those things and want to talk. If you don’t, I’m also a registered nerdologist with a degree in Random Factoids. If you wanna hear something you absolutely never needed to know, I’m your person. So yeah, dat’s me. Epileptic, book-lover, art-fanatic, nerdologist. -L.L.L
Question: Relying on others

...See more As the title implies, this is a question. Do y’all ever get annoyed or frustrated that you have to rely on others for certain tasks that you can’t do yourself? Me personally, state law says I can’t drive or get a license unless I go a certain time period without seizures. That is very likely NOT going to happen, so I have to rely on my parents and younger brother to get me places. It’s fine up until the point that I need something, have to go somewhere, or must leave quickly and nobody can take me for whatever reason. That irks me. A lot. I know I should be grateful and not complain, but sometimes it’s really hard. What about y’all? Do y’all ever wish you could be independent, do things by yourself, or live on your own? I hope I’m not alone in this. -LakeLureLocal
