I'm 51 years old, Irish/Italian American woman. I have one adult son that is 25. We are both very tall, I am 6'0" and my son is 6'7". I went back to school as a single parent and earned degree in psychology. In addition I am a Certified Addiction Counselor CACIII and have worked in human services for 20 years. My spirituality and relationship with my God has sustained me the most. I'm working on developing a solid network of supportive people in my life. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had a brain surgery to remove. I am different and have some residual affects from an acquired brain injury. For the most part I'm doing quite well and I'm grateful everyday for LIFE. I'm going through a transition, isn't all of life a transition? Two things for sure, change and death. My main goal is to become extremely RESILIENT so I can bounce back from lifes challenges with hope, happiness and HEALTH.
