...See more Biography @InsightfulRose or Mattias joined 7cups as a trained listener in August 2021. She was accepted as a Fresh Content writer for the Content Creation Team and aspires to achieve many more milestones on her 7cups listener journey. Mattias received her (B.S) Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2020 and is currently in the final stages of her Master of Arts (M.A) program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling, aspiring to become a licensed professional counselor in the future with an expected graduation date of early 2022. She hopes to someday specialize in trauma. During her undergraduate practicum, she interned as a content writer for The Calm, Cool & Collected, LLC, which provides information and education concerning mental health. Further, during undergraduate studies, she worked for her college counseling center, acting as a liaison between the center and the students. She also has been working as a freelance writer for the past two years. The opportunity to become a part of the content creation team was perfect for her, as writing and mental health are her two most significant passions. Mattias values empathy, activism, advocacy, and understanding. She is highly dedicated to helping others and bringing awareness to mental health issues. She spends much of her time researching, writing, and advocating. In her free time, she loves spending time with her fiancé and dog, is interested in cryptocurrency, enjoys art and photography (specifically spray-painting art), engages in fitness and health activities, loves trying new beauty practices, and could be considered a foodie.
