I'm broken. Easy enough. 18 months Afghanistan. 13 IEDs, shot 4 times. All as a govyt contractor. Lived with nightmares and night sweats 8 years. Now. Now I get lightheaded, vertigo or just fall down. Cant work. VA has done 100000$ worth of test and dont tell me anything. Frustrated is a very calm word of were I am now. I'm covered in bruises from falling. I cant work and all social services are unresponsive.

...See more Some college but was like high school. Joined usn, 10 years. Combat vet. Panama, Nicaragua, Desert sheild/storm. Out in '98. 18 months in saudi Arabia. Came back built usn torpedoes. Built latest generation of Virginia class submarines. Then did final testing on new surface ships weapons. Went to iraq , came home then did 18 months in Afghanistan. Hell hole. I hate mountains. Worst place, Restrepo the whole Kunar valley screwed me. Convoys, ieds, RPGs. Nuts
