Fear of taking new medications

...See more Hope this is allowed, if not please delete. But I get so scared of taking new meds that I sometimes have to be hospitalized short-term just to get through them. I've had a lot of bad reactions which just makes it worse. People think I'm really not well when I say I absolutely have to be monitored taking new meds (I live alone) for me to take it... Anyone else like this and is there anything that can be done about it...
