"The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed — to be seen, heard, and companioned exactly as it is." Parker J Palmer
Do you feel the need to be heard? My name is Mike and I'm here to listen to you. Apart from being a 7 Cups Listener, I am also a professional counsellor and supervisor. I previously worked as a nurse and have been listening to others for nearly 20 years as a helping professional.
Personally, I have experienced a variety of problems, challenges and suffering during my own life including bereavement, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, work stress, redundancy, health issues, trauma, PTSD, religious and spiritual abuse, relationship issues and parenting problems. My own experiences have helped me to relate and help others.
I have also experienced the healing power of being listened to by someone who is honest, cares about me and does not judge me but accepts me for who I am. I would like to offer that to you, so if you are ready to talk I am ready to listen. 7 Cups of Tea gives you an anonymous, confidential space to share your feelings freely. I am not here to give advice or solve your problems but I believe that I can help you discover your own resources within yourself. I will give you my full attention for an hour of live chat if you able to do the same.
