Passive Suicidal Ideation

...See more This phrase has popped up quite a few times in my life and while talking to doctors. I have been told it is totally normal and happens to most people and more recently I have been told it is not normal and is still quite serious. Passive suicidal ideation: such as the wish to die during sleep, to be killed in an accident, or to develop terminal cancer is different from 'active' suicidal thoughts as one wishes to die but does not actively seek to kill oneself. I have had passive thoughts for as long as I can remember, always thought they were normal and everyone had them. I know 7cups has a disclaimer all over that states they are not capable of handling suicidal issues but I was just wondering if anyone else experiences this? If topic is not allowed, please remove and my apologies. Thank you.
The Value of Happiness
Positivity & Gratitude / by CaptainHowdy

...See more Happiness is something I have always struggled with. I have always just wanted others to be happy so I'm not sure I ever addressed what I wanted to be happy, or what that would even mean. Is it so terrible to base your happiness on others' happiness? I've always been told that but no one can really express a real reason why. So I profer this question to the forum: Would you trade your happiness for 5 other people's happiness? As in what you despise doing day in and day out made 5 other lives easier and more joyful in a way they could never be with you. Please ponder that and answer honestly, resist the urge to just state something about self-care/self-love, etc. I want to know what YOU woud do. Thank you in advance for taking the time.
What are your symptoms/signs of BPD?

...See more Hello everyone. I will start by saying that I am not diagnosed with BPD but most likely due to only going to 3 dr's visits before quitting. During which they did diagnose me with anxiety, depression and OCD. I didn't make it to the actual talking therapy part, which is where I would have addressed my suspicion of having BPD or something to that affect. So I was curious, what is it you experience on a regular basis? Like your symptoms or behavioral traits that link you to this diagnosis? I am not looking for anyone to fill the space of a licensed doctor, I was just wondering if I could see myself in them - if that makes sense. Hope everyone is doing well and thank you for your time.
Meds only worked for a month...

...See more Hello, before I state my full question I have some disclaimers. I am not going to mention the name of my med, nor do I want anyone to mention theirs. I understand that no one is a dr or is fully capable of telling me the best route to take with my health and medications. I am purely looking for opinions and personal experiences, so I would appreciate everyone keep that in mind when posting. I understand everyones experiences with meds will be different. Thank you in advance. Question: I was put on a new med and for the first 3-4 weeks it was like heaven, it helped alleviate my problematic symptons beautifully. But towards the end of the month it seemed to go downhill, and now after almost 2 months I feel llike I am right back to where I started with the symptoms. In your opinion or experience would you say that the med isn't right for me or just needs to be a higher dose? Mods: If I have broken a rule in anyway by posting about this please feel free to remove post and accept my apologies for ignorance.
