...See more hi I just started therapy its horrible and overwhelming and I dont know whats going on and I feel like a fake but I have to write an impact statement but I cant because I dont know how and Im scared to write it down and I dont want to fuck it up and Im a mess I just want to stay in denial forever and pretend it never happened and move on.

...See more Life is a huge chain of interconnected frustrations and hurdles, my goal isn't to jump them anymore. I create my own challenges, I orchestrate the issues I face. Life is challenging, I'm going to choose how it challenges me. I'm taking control of my fate not out of a naive hope that it'll ease the issues I face, but rather to put myself in a position to handle the pre-existing hardships and take on challenges that will develop me as a person. Life is hard, but that's what makes it rewarding.
