These are some helpful videos.

I am still trying to overcome my fear of mindfulness but hearing about the why is helpful. It is just really hard to face feelings.

@MaschaV thanks for your interest. Mindfulness can be also not focusing on feelings. We can focus on our environment or a video that guides us to a place in which we find comfort
