...See more Hello everyone! After careful consideration, I have decided to put the TOZ Group Support Team on a temporary hiatus. This is due to a lack of active leaders/hosts, and a general decline in participation due to the holiday season and other factors. However, never fear! When we return, we will most likely restructure the Group Support Team to create the necessary improvements for success. So, what does being on hiatus mean? - Hosting is suspended: You will not be able to host under your role of TOZ discussion host. However, you are welcome to explore other hosting options on 7 Cups, including Pop-Up hosting if you're still interested in being involved. - Applications will not be processed: You are welcome to apply to be a TOZ discussion host, but just know that no applications will be processed until we return, meaning you may not hear back for a while. - Script-editing/writing is suspended: Since the script-writing team falls under the Group Support team, similar restrictions apply. If script-writers are still interested in catching up on/continuing to write scripts, they may on their own time, but they will not be edited until we return. There will also be no new script-writing assignments. For more updates and news for when we return, please keep following this thread! All script-writers must fulfill a monthly quota of at least 2 scripts. They may be asked to write brand new scripts, update old ones, or act as script-editors. Everyone that has this role will also have the opportunity to write for a topic of their choosing from one of our many topics at TOZ. Unfortunately as an adult member we can no longer have you as a discussion host for TOZ as access is restricted to be for teen members, teen listeners, and adult teen listeners. On the Spot Hosting

...See more Are you interested in being a host for TOZ but have an unpredictable schedule? Apply to be an on the spot host! Instead of signing up for discussions in advance, you can decide to host whenever you have the time. Hosts are still expected to meet a quota of 3 sessions per month, but when you host is up to you! Here's how on the spot hosting works: 1) Pick a time to host and a discussion topic. When choosing a time, make sure to start during a new hour in ET time. For example, you need to start you session at 10 AM ET instead of 10:34 AM ET. On the spot hosts can host both member daily sessions and discussions (support based topics). 2) Open the room for the discussion or ask a doorkeeper to help you out. If there is a community mod around, ask them to put an alert out for the session. 3) Use the provided TOZ script for the topic you select, and host the session. All sessions last approximately one hour. 4) After the session is over, close the room or let a doorkeeper know that the room needs to be closed. 5) Log onto the TOZ dashboard and go to the "Group Support Sign Ups" page. Write in your username/date/time for the session you hosted and change the status to completed. If you have any questions about on the spot hosting, please message @sophiasanae for more information. These posts are meant to give a recap of the month's events and talk about updates and announcements for the upcoming month. Monthly Recap: We hit a record of 25 sessions signed up and hosted by individual hosts! Congratulations everyone, I'm so proud of all your hard work. 2022 is off to an amazing start! All hosts will be receiving cheers for the sessions they hosted shortly. To see how many cheers you earned, check out the tracking page on the TOZ dashboard! Monthly Shoutout: Our monthly shoutout goes to @FallenStarss for hosting 9 sessions this month! And congrats to the runner up, @29amy for hosting 7 (and back to back sessions too!). Please congratulate @FallenStarss and @29amy by replying to this post! Reminders: Please note that for sessions to be marked "cancelled" on the sign-up sheet, your co-host and @sophiasanae must be notified at least 48 hours in advance. If I do not receive a message about a cancellation within the timeframe, your session will be marked missed instead. Also, please do not forget to change the status of your session! I know we are still getting adjusted to this new system, but it is super important to change the status of your session to "completed," or "missed" after your discussion's time slot has passed. This helps us make sure the tracking page is accurate. If I message you about changing the status of your session and do not hear back within a reasonable timeframe, it will be marked "missed" and you will not receive any cheers for it. Updates: All member daily scripts have officially been updated! Whoohoo! They have been re-formatted, updated, and the correct links have been added. The link to the member daily session scripts has been updated on the February sign-ups page of the TOZ dashboard. Icebreaker Hour and Quiz/Games Night have official scripts now, so if you're hosting these sessions, please make sure to use them! The script for "Remembering Our Purpose" has moved to be with all the other discussion scripts. It was about time, since it is a discussion after all! You can find it on the TOZ sign-up page by clicking on "Discussion Scripts" under the "Links" column. We are still working on updating all the discussion scripts, although this will be an ongoing project since there are so many of them! We need your help! If you see any scripts that are outdated or need to be edited, please add a comment on the Discussion Scripts sheet and note the reason why it needs to be looked out. Then message @sophiasanae. Finally, remember that the discussion scripts do not have the correct links in the conclusion paragraphs. This is because they are old scripts! I recently began creating a growth path for positive focus, which touches on the topics of self-esteem, self-love, gratitude, and a positive mindset. I also wanted to make it unique so it includes journal prompts, videos, affirmations, and talks about my two favorite topics; philosophy and psychology. I felt like by including these topics, it gives a deeper look into the subject of happiness/positivity! I've wanted to create growth path since the option became available, but I was motivated to finally start due to the H Prize!
